Ava Sky Stewart is a Melbourne based artist working across photography, videography, and performance. Before stepping behind the camera, Ava started her career as a touring actor with Perseverance Street Theatre Company and began training with companies such as Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre, Dairakudakan, and the National Drama School.

This foundation in performance deeply informs her photographic practice. Her versatility as an artist has sharpened her understanding of movement, presence and timing. Allowing her to anticipate moments rather than stage them. She brings a performer’s intuition to every shoot, creating images that feel embodied, alive, and grounded in authentic expression.

Ava is the founder of Flow Space Studios, a company rooted in the belief that creativity thrives in a state of flow; a transformative, immersive experience where self-consciousness falls away and instinct leads. Her work centres on creating environments where artists feel safe, seen, and free to fully inhabit their craft. During the state of flow, she strives to provide a space where creativity flourishes, enabling artist to transcend the ordinary and deliver extraordinary artistic experiences.
